India's independent pickleball resource.
No bias. No spin.
A neutral, editorially rigorous guide to Indian pickleball — written by players, for players. Priced in INR, honest about gear, and factual about the sport's politics.
Indian pickleball is growing fast — from a handful of courts in 2022 to 1,200+ by early 2025, and roughly 60,000 active players. But the digital resources haven't kept pace. Existing sites are either retailer-affiliated (so they push certain gear), aggregator-only (no editorial voice), or tied to one of the two governing bodies (so coverage is skewed by allegiance).
pikl.in exists to fill that gap: a neutral, editorially rigorous guide to Indian pickleball — written by players, for players. We price gear in INR. We list courts without bias toward which booking platform you use. We cover governing-body disputes factually, without taking sides.
INR first
All pricing in Indian Rupees. No USD conversions with ambiguous import costs.
Neutral on governance
The AIPA vs IPA dispute is real and legally active. We report facts, not allegiances.
No affiliate kickbacks
We don't earn commission on gear recommendations. We say what we think.
Verification over quantity
We'd rather list 10 confirmed courts than 100 unverified ones.
India-specific
Rules from the US, gear from the EU, courts from Singapore — none of that unless it's directly relevant to Indian players.
A note on the governance dispute
Indian pickleball has two competing national bodies: AIPA (All India Pickleball Association, founded 2008, affiliated with the International Pickleball Federation) and IPA (Indian Pickleball Association, founded November 2024, granted government recognition in April 2025). A Delhi High Court case was ongoing as of mid-2025.
We cover both organisations factually and will publish a full governance explainer once the legal situation resolves. Until then, we won't recommend one body over the other.
