Who runs this site

pikl.in is operated as a sole proprietorship by Vishal Choudhary, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It is an independent resource: we have no affiliation with any pickleball governing body, tournament organiser, retailer or manufacturer. Questions about anything here go to hello@pikl.in.

Accuracy — read this one

This is the part that actually matters, so it is not buried at the bottom.

Much of what pikl.in publishes is transcribed by hand from other people's sources— tournament schedules from organisers' PDFs and images, court details from clubs, results from official boards. We check it, we date-stamp it, and we correct it when we find an error. It can still be wrong, and the sources themselves change without telling us.

So: do not rely on this site alone for anything that costs you money or a match. Before you book a flight, buy a ticket, or turn up for a court time, confirm it against the official source — which we name and link on every page that carries transcribed data. Where our page and the official source disagree, the official source is right.

Everything on the site is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free, and we are not liable for losses arising from relying on it. If you find a mistake, tell us — we will fix it and say that we did.

DUPR Rating Sessions

We offer paid DUPR Rating Sessions, in person in Bengaluru and online. A few things worth being clear about:

• The booking form is an enquiry. Submitting it does not confirm a slot — we come back to you to arrange one, and payment is handled separately.
• A Coach-Assigned Rating is issued under DUPR's own rules and applies to non-rated doubles players. We assess honestly against those criteria; we cannot promise you any particular rating, and we cannot change one after it is assigned.
• We are not DUPR, and we cannot fix DUPR account problems — logins, duplicate profiles or match history are theirs to sort out.
• Refunds and rescheduling are handled case by case. If something has gone wrong or plans change, email hello@pikl.in and we will sort it out with you.

Content and reuse

Our own writing, data compilations and page designs belong to us. You are welcome to quote a line and link back — that is what the site is for. Bulk copying, scraping or republishing our court directory or schedule data is not on.

Some material on the site belongs to other people and carries its own terms: third-party names and logos belong to their owners, and where we use a licensed photograph or map data the licence and credit are stated on the page. Those credits are conditions of use, not decoration — do not strip them if you reuse that material.

Links, ads and affiliate relationships

We link out to official event sites, governing bodies, booking platforms and retailers. Those are not ours and we do not control what they publish or how they treat you. Some links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you, and the site carries advertising. Neither buys anyone favourable coverage. The detail is in our privacy policy.

Using the site sensibly

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, and do not use it to do anything unlawful. We can withdraw access if you do. We also do not guarantee the site is always available — it is a small operation and things occasionally break.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and material changes are noted on the home page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
