Why do some events show two bronze medallists?

Because they have no third-place playoff. Where the organisers run one, bronze goes to its winner; where they don't, both losing semi-finalists are placed third. That is the organisers' own rule, and it is why the bronze column on the medal table runs ahead of the silver one. Round-robin divisions are different again: third place is simply third on the table, so they show one bronze.

Why does an event say 'Results awaited'?

Because its final had not been played when we read the brackets at 6 September 2026 at 11:46 am. 8 of the 154 events listed here are in that state. We keep them on the page rather than hiding them: a semi-final loss is already a settled bronze, so those names are final even while the gold and silver are not.

What does 'decided on the round-robin table' mean?

25 of the 154 divisions were run as a single round robin rather than a knockout draw. There is no final in those — every pair plays every other pair, and the organisers' own standings table ranks them. We take first, second and third from that table and say so on the card, because it is a different thing from winning a final.

Are all the World Cup's events on this page?

Every event in the International Tournament, yes — all 154 of them, across the Amateur, Junior, Open and Heineken competitions. The organisers keep each one on its own bracket page and publish no combined list, so every page was opened and read. The national-team World Cup itself publishes no brackets anywhere, and is not on this page.

Why is a player shown without a flag?

Because the source did not show one against that entry. We reproduce what the brackets publish and never infer a nationality from a name — an initial-only entry is common in these draws, and a guess would put the wrong flag beside a real person.
