Hai Chau · City Centre
The west bank of the Han River — where both venues sit. Riverside high-rises, Dragon Bridge, Han Market and the city's street-food core.
Both arenas sit on the west bank of the Han River — and 4,000 athletes from 80+ nations land the same week. Here's how to pick your base, with stays for every budget from cliff-top suites to $8 dorms.
Both venues — Tien Son Sports Palace and Tuyen Son Sports Village — sit in Hai Chau district on the west bank of the Han River, about 3 km from the airport. The beach, and most of the city's famous food and nightlife, is on the east bank.
That gives you three realistic bases: the city centre right by the arenas, the My Khe / An Thuong beach quarter ten minutes across the river, or the resort strip further south. Nothing is far — a Grab across town rarely tops 25 minutes.
Distance below is to Tien Son Sports Palace, the main arena. Every stay on this page is tagged to one of these three.

The beach. An Thuong's lanes behind My Khe are Da Nang's café, bar and backpacker quarter — the densest stretch of budget-to-mid stays in the city.
The five-star strip running south along quiet sand towards the Marble Mountains. Big grounds, multiple pools, full-board ease.
Da Nang's five-star beachfront is genuinely good value by global standards — full resorts at city-hotel prices. All sit south or east of the river, so budget 20–30 minutes to the venues.
International four- and five-star hotels in the city and on the beach. This tier gets you closest to the venues — including the one international hotel within walking distance.
Da Nang's local three- and four-stars are clean, friendly and absurdly cheap for what you get. Two of these are close enough to walk to Tien Son.
Dorm beds from about $5 and private homestay rooms from $15, almost all in the An Thuong quarter. Small inventories — these fill first once the draw drops.
Rates on this page are indicative nightly prices for the Cup week as seen in June 2026 — they will move as the draw and ticket dates firm up. The booking links open Agoda pre-filled with the event dates (Aug 29 – Sep 7) so you can compare live prices in one tap.
