Until this week the strongest thing anyone could say about the playing field at Da Nang was that it would feature 'leading players from the PPA and APP circuits'. The tournament portal has now published its full entry list, and it can be read: names, divisions, partners and DUPR ratings, across every tier.
The top of the professional field is genuine. Jay Devilliers leads it at 6.599, ahead of Jack Munro at 6.323 and Purple Jesus Manthou at 6.281. Richard Livornese Jr, Ryler DeHeart, Daniel De La Rosa, Katerina Stewart, Megan Fudge and Vivian Glozman are all entered. So is the host nation's Duong Thien Quang at 6.258.
For India the notable line is that Harsh Mehta, the Pro squad captain, is entered in men's pro doubles alongside Duong Thien Quang himself — an India-and-Vietnam pairing at the top of the host country's own draw. At 5.921 Mehta is the highest-rated Indian in the field and sits eighteenth overall on that measure.
India is entered across every professional division. Arjun Singh plays men's doubles with Aditya Singh and mixed with Naomi Amalsadiwala; Aman Patel partners Purvansh Patel in doubles and Aaliyah Ebrahim in mixed; Anish Frolian is in all three men's draws. Pearl and Naomi Amalsadiwala are entered together in women's pro doubles, with Pearl also in mixed alongside Vietnam's Nguyen Anh Gia Huy. Mihika Yadav and Aaliyah Ebrahim both play women's pro singles.
The junior and senior squads are in too, in their own tiers — Veer Shah, Viransh Chopra, Mahika Rathod, Aarin Ballani and the U18 group across the junior draws, and both Senior teams in the age-group brackets, where Nitten Kirrtane at 4.942 and Bhushan Akut at 4.708 lead the 50+ and 60+ contingents.
Two things this is not. It is not the World Cup draw: these are entries in the open Heineken International Tournament that runs the same week, and the national-team competition has published no entry list or order of play at all. And it is not a bracket — partners and divisions can still change, and nothing has been drawn. Ratings are the portal's own, read on August 19.
