Ticketing for the Pickleball World Cup has finally gone live, sixteen days before the first serve. It is not what anyone waiting for it was hoping for. What went on sale is four corporate hospitality packages, and nothing else.
The cheapest is $1,000 for a single VVIP seat on finals day, September 6. A table for two on the same day is $2,000. The full-week packages — described as opening, rounds, quarter-finals, semi-finals and a closing 'Finals & Music Festival' — are $3,600 for a table of two and $5,400 for a table of three. Every one of them is sold with a gala dinner ticket, entry to an invite-only business forum, a photo with the players and a signed paddle. The organisers describe the audience in their own words: high-ranking officials, sponsors and company owners.
What still does not exist is a ticket for a spectator. There is no day pass, no session ticket, no seating plan and no price for simply turning up to watch. The page selling the VVIP passes does not mention one, and no other official channel has published one either.
There is a practical reason to think ordinary entry may end up being free rather than sold. The Cup is spread across seven named venues and 76 courts scattered around Da Nang, most of them outdoors — ordinary pickleball clubs on Duy Tan and Tran Quang Dieu as well as the two big Tuyen Son and Tien Son sites. Most of that footprint cannot be gated the way a single arena can. Tien Son, which holds over 7,000 and packed a Guinness-record 7,906 in for pickleball last year, is the one place a paid ticket makes obvious sense. None of that is confirmed by anyone.
The route we recommended on this page a fortnight ago has meanwhile closed: entering the open International Tournament put you inside the venue as a competitor, but entries shut on July 31. For anyone in India without a spare thousand dollars, the honest position is that the stream — still unconfirmed for India — matters more than the ticket page.
Update, August 24, 2026: this is now out of date. General admission does exist — it went on sale on Ticketbox.vn, not on the organisers' portal, as seven single-day tickets from 250,000 dong. The paragraphs above stand as what the official channels showed on August 19; our current ticket page carries the full price grid.
