Day 1 in Ahmedabad: Veer Shah opens the junior trials with the U16 singles title

The 2025 World Cup Junior MVP wasted no time. Veer Shah took the U16 boys singles title on the opening day of the Junior Pickleball Championship in Ahmedabad, beating fellow squad-watch name Panth Thakkar in the final.

Four titles were decided on Day 1. Anushka Chhabria — a four-medal junior at Florida 2025 — paired with Mahika Rathod to win the U16 girls doubles, Aashrithaa beat Dhiyaa Prasanna Kumar for the U16 girls singles crown, and Vidisha Vijay Shinde took the U12 girls singles.
